COBO Interactive Comfort Seat (ICS)

The new seat of the ICS family (Interactive Comfort Seat) was produced and designed to improve the operators comfort. Developed by cooperating with various companies, universities and institutes has led to the introduction and use of new and innovative solutions. It is available in different configurations and versions.

Among the features, the latest generation of suspension dampens vibrations of the environment up to 40%. Thanks to the new tilting system allowing the operator to adjust the seat in a range of 12°, also the visibility and correctional mobility is greatly improved ensuring you are maintaining full access to the controls which are built into the armrests.

PASSIVE VENTILATION 

Thanks to the innovative shape of the backrest, divided into two parts, we have a passive ventilation that reduces the heat in the back.

 

ADAPTIVE AIR SUSPENSION

The new adaptive (magnetorheological) air suspension reduces the vibrations that reach the user during the use of the machine by up to 40% compared to a traditional air suspension, especially in harsh conditions.
Thanks to the solution used (MR-Dumprer) we can intervene, through the use of a COBO control unit with proprietary algorithm, immediately on the stroke and speed of the suspension allowing the overcoming of all homologation classes and certifications (EU 1322/2014 modified by EU 2018/830, ISO7096: 2000, EU167/2013).
The mastery of the algorithm, allows us to get the best operation and performance from the suspension, based on each individual application / situation. 


TILTING SYSTEM

Through an innovative electric tilt system, placed under the suspension, we can tilt the entire full seat up to 12 °, thus maintaining all the comforts and adjustments previously set and improving visibility and operator posture during work.
This tilt system can be controlled manually by the operator via HMI, or automatically by control unit, for example according to the angle and extension of the telescopic arm.
